Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Glenview, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Illinois run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Glenview is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Glenview follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. Stopped here on a whim while going to Trader Joe’s next door. Saw the 3.6 rating on Google and saw a decent crowd inside so figured it wasn’t accurate. 🚨 I ordered Spring Rolls and Chicken Pad See Ew for take out. Service was very quick and pleasant but the food bad. The Spring rolls had cream cheese 🤯 in them which was an odd ingredient and carrots looked brownish. (See pic) The Pad see ew was tasteless, the chicken looked odd, and the portions were too small for the price compared to other Thai spots I frequent. Total cost was $28.27. I threw most of it away.

Second time eating here. The first time was pretty decent, figured I give it a try again. Ordered for deliver; fried snapper, fried rice, and pad kee mao. Fried snapper, for $22+ I would imagine a whole fish or half, fried completely, not like a nugget that barely had fish (see picture) Fried rice, for $18+, the container is so small (see photo). Almost half the size of the regular black container. The pineapple and tomato pretty much filled about half the container already, so barely any rice or beef. Food overall, red snapper was not good at all. Pretty much 90% batter and 10% fish, and the batter was fried too much that it was a bit hard to bite. The fried rice was OK, wetter than it should be and 50% of it was mostly pineapple and tomato (bit weird that a basil fried rice had pineapple), but it was listed in the description.

My friends and I have been here a few times and each time the food has been very tasty and fresh!! Their peanut sauce stir fry and pad kee mao are delicious and perfectly spicy — they definitely don’t tone it down too much. Highly recommend if you’re in the Glenview area! Reasonable prices too.

Great Spiciness, but Pad Thai Could Use a Little More Flavor This was my second visit to Thai Inbox in Glenview, and overall, it was a solid experience. This time around, I tried the Beef Salad, Pad Thai with chicken, and Spicy Chili Noodles with chicken. The Spicy Chili Noodles had a perfect level of heat without being overpowering, which I really appreciated. Although I was hoping for a Papaya Salad, the Beef Salad turned out to be a great substitute—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The only downside was the Pad Thai, which lacked a bit of flavor, color, and spiciness compared to what I expected. It wasn’t bad, but could have used a bit more punch. Overall, a solid spot, I’ll likely return again to try other menu items and continue exploring. Definitely a good spot for a Thai fix!

I recently visited Thai Inbox, and I must say it was a wonderful experience! The place itself is small and cozy, perfect for a relaxed meal. We ordered the seaweed salad, drunken noodles, and pad kee mao, and all of the food was incredibly flavorful. What stood out the most was how vegetarian-friendly and accommodating they were, making it easy for us to enjoy the dishes just the way we like them. We also got Thai iced tea, which was absolutely delicious and a perfect complement to the meal. The service was fantastic—friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The staff really made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. If you’re looking for authentic, tasty Thai food with great service, Thai Inbox is the place to go! Highly recommend!
